This is the updated information reagarding Visa to Vietnam with Australian and New Zealand passport holders. Please check with us via info@halongtoursbooking.com if you have different nationality for most update and accurate information

VIETNAM EVISA:

This MUST be applied prior to your travelling date. This can be obtained via 3 main ways:

+ Contact the nearest Vietnamese Embassy in your place

+ Apply online via our governmental immigration department official website and follow instructions (https://evisa.gov.vn/)

+ Use our service (Highly recommend): We can assist you to arrange an E-Visa to enter Vietnam all you need to do is to send over your information. The fee is 52USD/person for single entry for 30 days including the stamp fee in which you do not need to pay any extra at the airport.

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival - Airport Pick Up - Transfer To Hotel (N/A)

Upon arrival in Noi Bai International Aiport (HAN) you will be picked up by our driver with a private car and dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi center. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure. (Check in time is 14:00pm)

Hanoi Old quarter- well known for its 36 streets-offers layers of Chinese and French influence, gaggles of scooters and a wealth of world-class restaurants. Taking your time wandering through these maze of streets, discovering traditional markets, temples, and colonial-era buildings to experience uniquely rich and diverse culture in the heart of Hanoi capital.

Night 1: Overnight in hotel in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)

3* and 4* Cruises Itinerary:

07:45-08:15: Tour guide pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter. Have a short break on half way for 20 minutes to relax and happy room.

12:00: Arrive to Tuan Chau Harbor.

12:30: Welcome on board Enjoy welcome to drink and get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check- in your cabin.

13:00: Enjoy your lunch with Vietnamese traditional dishes, while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.

14:30: Visiting Sung Sot Cave (Surprising cave).

15:30: Our cruise will take you to the Titop Island for having a viewpoint at its peak which affords splendid views all around Halong Bay and enjoy swimming on the beach.

17:00: Come back Cruise then take a shower, relax on sundeck, sunset watching in comfortable lounge chairs while drinking a cocktail or reading a book in the most magical moment.

Hanoi- Halong - Lan Ha Bay (Meal: B, L, D )

07:45 – 08:15: Get picked up from your hotel

08:15 - 11:30: Follow the newest highway connecting Hanoi and Hai Phong. Upon arrival at Station number 17 – OVERNIGHT CRUISE PORT, Tuan Chau Maria, Ha Long passengers will be welcomed by receptionist at the waiting lounge.

11:30 – 12:00: After taking a rest, our high speed tender will transfer you to the main boat (Around 25 minutes). Get onboard and warmly welcome from La Casta crew team with welcome drink. After that, you will be given a short briefing about the cruise and safety guideline at our restaurant. Complete the check-in procedure and check-into our suite cabins.

13:00: Enjoy a lunch in the restaurant. The cruise starts to depart for the voyage to discover the Lan Ha Bay.

15:45: Visit the Ba Trai Dao area and the natural lagoon of Lan Ha Bay – this area includes the beach breaths a romantic atmosphere and three smaller islets like three giant peaches on the sea. You can join with our activities such as: kayaking, swimming, sightseeing and explore the Ba Trai Dao area.

(In unfavorable weather conditions, to ensure the safety of our guest, this destination would be change into Light cave- famous for the pristine natural beauty and poetic, attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. You can join with our activities such as: kayaking, sightseeing on the bamboo boat, ... - It’s time for you to enjoy bamboo boats or swimming which is an interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the stunning limestone structure and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay).

17:30 – 18:30: Come back to our cruise and enjoy the pre-dinner sunset party with Happy Hour Promotion (buy 2 get 1 free with some kinds of drinks) at the bar while watching the view of the bay at sunset.

18:00: Join a cooking demonstration, our chef will guide you how to make some simple signature Vietnamese dishes.

08:00: Boat cruising to Luon Cave Luon Cave is located on Bo Hon Island, about 14km to the south of Bai Chay Tourist Wharf and 1 km away from Surprise Cave. Luon Cave has the shape of an arc with 60 meters in length and 2.5 – 4 in height depending on the tide. Because of the limited height, the only way to visit Luon Cave is by a small boat or a kayak.

10:00: Check-out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay.

11:00: Enjoy the lunch while Cruising back to Tuan Chau Harbor.

12:00: Arrive harbor, get on the shuttle bus to come back to Hanoi.

16:00: Arrive at the hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter. Trip ends!

6:15: Wake up early, join the Tai Chi session on sundeck area, enjoy the fresh atmosphere and watch the sunrise in Lan Ha Bay.

09:00: Back to your cabin, relax and check carefully all the luggage before leaving your cabin.

11:30: Disembark at Tuan Chau harbor, get on the shuttle bus to come back to Hanoi.

Today, you will have free time till our driver comes to pick you up to the airport to take flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and dropped off at the hotel in Hoi An town.

Today, you will have the whole day to explore Hoi An town on your own.

You will have the whole day free in Hoi An and discover the beautiful ancient town on your own.

Optional tour: Hoi An cooking class tour.

Visit Hoi An market to buy ingredients for the cooking class. You then ride to Tra Que village (a short 15-minute cycle away.) You will be welcomed with a special local soft drink - “É” water or local tea. After your welcome, take a short walk around the vegetable garden to see local farmers at work.

Begin to learn how to cook local delicacies.

After your cooking class, enjoy the foods cooked by yourself. By bicycle we return back to the hotel.

Optional tour: My Son Holy Land Tour (Light Lunch included).

My Son was chosen as a religious center, built in the late 4th century under the Cham’s King Bhadra Vaman. It is a huge religious complex with over 70 towers and temples of different architectures. Wander through the elaborate carvings and sculptures of the Cham people, tourists are welcomed at the Old Tower of the Cham. Spend 2 hours to enjoy and discover the beauty of ancient buildings at of the Champa Kingdom with our tour guide. A light lunch will be served as well.

Night 6: Overnight in Hoi An

Day 7: Hoi An Departure - Airport Transfer - Flight To Ho Chi Minh City (B)

After breakfast at your hotel and you are free till airport transfer. Today, you will have a flight to Ho Chi Minh city and stay overnight at the most touristic area of Ho Chi Minh City.

Night 7: Overnight in hotel in Ho Chi Minh

Day 8: Mekong Delta Tour (B/L)

07:30 – 07:50: Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19^th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.

Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.

Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.

In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip.

17:00 - 17:30: Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Trip ends.

Night 8: Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Day 9: Cu Chi Tunnel Tour (B)

07:30 – 07:50: Pick up at your hotel and depart to Cu Chi will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving.

Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the wartime.

Then, spend your time exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs.

Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Break time for relaxation or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun before returning to Saigon by 14:00-14.30pm.

The rest of the day is spent at your leisure

Optional tour: Saigon by night and street food by motorbike

This is the real street-food tour of Saigon. You’ll strap on your helmet and hit the streets by motorbike, just like the locals do, scouting the city for truly fresh flavor. Stopping in some of the city’s most diverse districts, you’ll sit down to banh mi, bun bo, banh xeo, Vietnamese barbecue, and more. Those words might not mean much now, but your tastebuds will absolutely remember them

Night 9: Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Tours were great, hotels were nice, especially my hotel in Hoian where I was upgraded :) I was actually a little surprised that Halong Tours managed to deliver so much value; accommodation, meals, tours, transfers etc for the price that I paid, I would have paid so much more if I had to organise everything myself. Also a special thanks to Bella who worked around the clock to accommodate me and my (at times demanding) requests. She even bought me a little present when she came to meet me in Hanoi. From the minute I booked the tickets to the day I left Hanoi, Halong tours looked after me in top notch form, I had booked a few day trips with them and they were always on time, professional and gave a great tour. The guides were very knowledgeable and their English was pretty good although did have a few moments of confusion due to the pronunciation.
